Work is going great!! It is crazy that we are actual nurses now. Yesterday I took care of my first patient all by myself...eeks! I was so freaked out the first day; I really dont know ANYTHING. So be prepared to feel like a complete idiot and ask a shit-ton of questions that get some blank stares back, like "you dont know that?" It really makes you feel like a million bucks. But everyday seems to get easier and confidence not to kill the patient gets stronger. Soon enough I will be telling the doctors what to do...yeah right.

Funny Story...

So for those of you who don't know...my two weeks of partying and drinking is not going exactly as planned because I have a horrendous cold and feel like complete butthole right now. Anyway... so last night I went to bed fairly early, hoping that a good night sleep will make me feel better, well.... at 3:00 in the morning my cell phone rings and I am like "who the fuck is calling me at 3:00 in the morning" ...didn't check it and rolled back over to cuddle with Oscar.

Got up this morning and while making my morning cup of tea, I remembered my phone rang late last night... checked my phone and wouldn't you know...
I completely got a drunk dial from Dan Fuller!

...Guess he liked my tits in his face! HA! Good-bye Blake, Hello Dan!

SNOWBOARD FUN DAY

Does Sunday, Dec. 28th from 3pm - 8pm (and of course Sunday fun day after) work for everyone? The total cost for lift tickets and ski/snowboard rental is $40. Carrie looked up prices and the cheapest time to go is on Sunday's.

Kase--I thought you knew how to snowboard and could show us how the hell you stay up on the thing??? Either way--I think it will be a shitload of fun trying to learn.

You should go and do an amateur night at East side--the prize is like $500 or $1000...
other than sex and drugs I have no idea how you make money quickly. You could always go around the neighborhood and shovel driveways for money, you could babysit, you could walk dogs, sell shit you own on craigslist...just a few ideas, but if you decide to do amateur night the mean girls will be there to root you on!

Hidden Valley huh?? We would for sure kill ourselves on that mountain...but it sounds like a good time to me. Lessons Krista???? I could pretend...but again that goes back to the killing ourselves thing. Lets go carve up the mountain and show em how mean girls do it! So, who is paying for me?? Sooooo I am glad people like Katie are spending their time volunteering... I however will be spending mine drinking and partying as much as I can ;) I am actually f**ing bored already and have decided I should learn how to do something new over break... I am debating between knitting and snowboarding...

Snowboarding seems like it would involve a lot more alcohol so that's of course what I am going to ultimately decide...

I think we should organize a daytime field trip to Hidden Valley within the next two weeks to learn how to snowboard and become "BAD ASS MEAN GIRLS ON SNOWBOARDS" or at least pretend to learn and do some day drinking??? Anyone up for it?

So everyone that didn't go on the bus... we missed you!!

Others that went on the bus.... Thanks! Carrie thank you soo much for planning it all. It turned out great!!! :) It's safe to say we all had an AWESOME time!! Some people got lost (Kelly), some people tried to sneak away in a cab with noone noticing (EVE) and some people just drank a lot of booze and danced! Nonetheless it was an amazing time!! I will try to figure out how to post pictures on this blog if not I will post them on Facebook (Eve- you need to give in and join) and via email soon.
