The good news is: it's actually VERY helpful and def not as boring as I expected. It's not a lecture rather you go through questions and the instructor talks through the rationale; tells you stragedy tips and shows you how to actually read the questions in a different way in order to get the right answer... It's VERY helpful. I unfortunately will not be with you girls next weekend because I am working my first real shifts this weekend!! ahh :)
The bad news: you encounter annoying people that try to fight for the answer. They don't understand that this is NCLEX.. there is no arguing what you think is "correct". Whatever. By the end of the afternoon you are ready to be done.. but for the most part it goes by quickly. The first day you do take a 180 question test so be prepared.. it sux but I know honestly if I was made to do the diagnostic I would not have done it. and it will be interesting to see how much we improve.
Also.. 97% of people that do all the Kaplan stuff .. pass! so that's good
Well, have a good week girls! I am off Wed and Thurs if anyone wants to study.
We also need to plan a happy hour again!
